Blind Acceptance

Loneliness is a great part,

Of everyone's life,

Of everyone's heart,

Loneliness is a shallow truth,

Of everyone's days,

Of everyone's youth,

Loneliness is somthing to fear,

Through out the months,

Through out the years,

Loneliness is ever so sad,

Through out the good,

Through out the bad,

The fears of aging and growing old,

Are not just stories to be told,

Just as wishing days for love,

It's not just something we dream of,

Without friends or family,

Or with money and luxury,

Loneliness is still real and there,

Because people don't seem to care,

Loneliness is an emotion inside,

Waiting to come out,

Waiting to open wide,

Loneliness is not summoned by will,

Waiting to harm,

Waiting to kill,

Loneliness shows a reason to care,

Like an absence of feelings,

Like an absence of being aware,

Loneliness is the beginning of death,

Like an absence of reason,

Like an absence of breath,

Love is but a casual word,

Just another message overheard,

Supposively a strong feeling,

That send mind and heart reeling,

Love is greater than caring,

It's courageous, bold and daring,

It's a manifested thought,

A pleasure that can't be bought,

It's something deep inside,

Where our hearts do open wide,

It's hidden and somewhere lost,

In the reaches of our thoughts,

Our feelings are mostly skin deep,

A passing possession we can not keep,

Though we can explore them slow,

And watch in which direction they flow,

In the world there is no time,

For commitments are an endless crime,

Stopping for anything can't be done,

It's like fighting a battle that can't be won,

We take everything too fast,

In a world where things can last,

We push ourselves to move ahead,

Just like we're on a leash being led,

There are many paths we can take,

And many feelings we can fake,

Our justice is set and done,

We can not live our lives for fun,

When everything is taken so serious,

In our minds our lives become delirious,

We'll travel endless miles,

And be put upon endless trials,

Is all of this for love?

Or something we dream of?

Or is it because we think it's right,

To forever follow a distant light,

I strive to find this distant light,

I strive to fill the darkness in my heart,

I strive to find peace within myself,

I strive to find the one person I can love,

Life is but a game,

With a certain set of rules,

We always conform to them,

Like a wild bunch of fools,

We'll follow all their stupid rules,

To conquer our every needs,

We are but player's,

In their complicated schemes,

We entrust too many people,

With our deared, blessed thoughts,

Then they'll turn their backs on us,

Only minding what they've got,

My attempted reality,

Are only my deepest dreams,

They reflect the way I think,

And not another's scheme,

In this world of rushing time,

It's hard to find someone to love,

Because you can't even confide in them,

The things your dreaming of,

They'll pot you on a ledge,

Then they'll push you off,

They"ll shatter you're reality,

All you're dreams will be lost,

You'll feel so hurt inside,

With nowhere to turn,

They'll cut you up, put you down,

And leave you to burn,

My attempted reality,

Are only my deepest dreams,

They reflect the way I think,

And not another's scheme,

Intrusion, exclusion, through the depths of my mind,

Searching for truth, that I'll never find,

Hiding from people, and those that surround,

I'm the only one, who'll not let me down,

Intrusion, exclusion, into my world of thought,

Hoping to reach, all that I've sought,

To find the meaning, of my existence,

Striving endlessly, with avid persistence,

Intrusion, exclusion, for the truths I seek,

Yet not one word, of my mind do I speak!

Long, thin and binding, they weave through your shoes,

Yet alive and changing, like a burning fuse,

They are more than just a way, for keeping shoes on your feet,

They are also a tradition, one we must keep,

For that which binds, and holds us here,

Also protects and comforts, from that we fear,

An emotion or feeling, of that we can't part,

Impacted upon our soul, from the very start,

Ideas that are solemn, pretentious and good,

Impair our need for change, though that we should,

Yet we'll hold onto past, and follow the old,

So tie your shoelaces, just like you've been told,
